Job Summary
The applicant will be responsible for the care and educational development of children ages 0-3 (for EHS Centers) or ages 3 to 5 (for HS Centers) and engage their families in accordance with Federal Head Start Performance Standards.
Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively with families and be able to coordinate with local resource providers to help with the needs of the families. The applicant will work as a team with the classroom Teacher and help with the daily operations of the classroom to help maintain stability for the program continuity. Applicant must have HS diploma and be willing to earn CDA (child development) credential within 12 months (or) have an Associates or BS Degree in Early Childhood and/or Child Development or a related field. Previous professional experience working with children is required.
Applicant must have a valid Missouri drivers license, transportation and insurance. Dual language is a plus.
Salary is based on education level ($13.20 - $20 per hour). Base pay for CFA possessing a Bachelor's degree = $20 per hour.
