We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Tool & Dye Maker to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing tools, molds, and dies, and will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, create, repair, and maintain tools, molds, and dies using CAM and EDM techniques.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand the requirements for each tool or mold.
Perform precision measurements using micrometers and calipers to ensure that tools and molds meet exact specifications.
Operate and maintain lathe and other machinery used in tool and dye making.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and mold performance.
Collaborate with other team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Continually update knowledge and skills to keep up with advances in tool and dye making technology.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Dye Maker in the manufacturing industry.
Proven expertise in tool and dye making, mold design, CAM, and EDM.
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and lathe.
Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or degree preferred.
