We at St. Pierre Pharmacy have embraced collaborative practice for the best patient experience and are seeking our next team member: Community Pharmacy Technician.
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Provide superior and efficient pharmacy patient care
· Apply full scope of practice as a pharmacy technician in Manitoba
· Practice in compliance to federal, provincial and professional regulatory authorities
· Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other health professionals to ensure accurate prescription medication preparation, distribution and patient care
· Ensure patient safety by engaging in quality assurance programs
· Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow
· Manage accurate dispensary data, documentation, and inventory
· Manage and perform compliance packaging and compounding of pharmaceutical products
· Manage third party billing submissions and reconciliation
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
· Preferred Registered Pharmacy Technician or Assistant in Manitoba, in good standing
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Accuracy and detail oriented
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Prioritization and efficiency driven
· Strong work ethic
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software an asset
