We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter and Finisher to join our team at a cabinet-making company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for painting, staining, and finishing wood cabinetry to achieve high-quality results that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation: Prepare wood surfaces for painting and finishing by sanding, filling, and cleaning as needed.
• Application: Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, sprayers, or other tools to achieve a smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing result.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for flaws, ensuring color consistency and smooth finishes that meet company standards.
• Maintenance: Properly maintain and clean tools, equipment, and the workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Documentation: Read and follow detailed instructions, work orders, and specifications in English. Accurately record materials used and job progress.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with tools, equipment, and finishing materials.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter/finisher, preferably in cabinetry or woodwork.
• Knowledge of different finishing techniques and materials, including paints, stains, and sealants.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance of finishing tools and spray equipment is a plus.

Compensation:
Pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
