Summary
As a painter, We are looking for a painter with experience in industrial painting to apply coatings to pumps, motor mounts, and related components. The ideal candidate will have experience with preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying finishes in a consistent and professional manner. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is essential. Your job is to remove paint, rust, and other material build-up from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials. Daily house cleaning, prepping of parts to be painted, working with a team and as individual in the booth. Punctuality and attendance is critical part of the job. Possibility of becoming a painter after a year of service in sandblast.
Your responsibilities - Prepare pumps and motor mounts for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces
- Apply coatings, paints, and finishes to pumps, motor mounts, and related parts with precision
- Ensure proper surface preparation for optimal paint adhesion
- Use spray guns, brushes, and other tools to apply coatings evenly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained
- Sandblast parts
- Daily house keeping
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines Attendance & Punctuality
What you bring - Proven experience in industrial painting, particularly with pumps, motor mounts, or similar equipment
- Knowledge of industrial painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow simple instructions and task
- Ability to work with in a sandblast suit/helmet
- Ability to work in a closed container
