Maintenance Technician - Affordable Housing

32 hours per week (between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm) - Monday thru Friday

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex to include minor electrical and plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, new and retro fit construction, painting, drywall and taping. The maintenance technician will be responsible for turning over the apartment after a resident has moved out. They are also responsible for maintaining curb appeal to include lawn care and snow removal.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Job Related Experience: Two (2)years' experience in general maintenance to include basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical codes/ordinances, basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, new and retrofit construction, state building codes, as well as a good understanding of mechanical maintenance.

Additional knowledge,

skills and abilities: Must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a driving record check along with Kari Koskinen background check
