Salary: $52,500-$60,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Take statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses
• Obtain and review evidence, reports, and medical records
• Investigate losses and identify coverage issues
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and claimant’s attorneys
• Evaluate policy coverage, contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, body shops while determining and establishing reserve requirements
• Demonstrates a high level of investigation, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation including interpretation of coverages

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
• Experience: 1 year or more of experience (non-standard or standard) in auto claims handling preferred.
• **Location:**Must reside in Nashville area
• Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel Windows 95 or above, Microsoft Access, AS400 system and Internet browsing, typing 30 wpm, and good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge: Automobile insurance, including good phone skills and accurate typing.
