Intern - Community/Urban Planning- Austin, Texas We are looking for a motivated and passionate planning interns to join our team for the summer of 2025. The successful candidate will work in Halff's Austin office and collaborate with our team city planners and urban designers on a diverse array of projects. This will include opportunities to:
- Conduct research, gather data, and assist in analyzing findings.
- Aid in preparing planning documents, reports, and presentations.
- Participate in engaging meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Offer innovative ideas and solutions to project challenges.
- Embrace additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Intern - Community/Urban Planning Requirements: - Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in community/urban planning or a related field.
- A collaborative attitude and approach.
- Self-motivated and strong organizational abilities.
- Previous experience or interest in learning computer programs such as ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office.
Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
