Description Klondike Cheese Co. is searching for a HR Assistant to join our Human Resources Team! The
HR Assistant's primary focus will be to assist with the recruitment and hiring process of hourly factory employees. The
HR Assistant will post open positions, track and manage steps in the hiring process, schedule and conduct interviews, schedule pre-employment screening, complete new hire onboarding, and deliver group Orientations to new hires.
The
HR Assistant will have additional responsibilities including:
- Attendance tracking;
- Assisting employees with timesheet corrections;
- Ensuring timesheet/timekeeping data is correct and accurate for payroll;
- Enter employee schedules up on hire and process any schedule changes;
- Ensure accuracy of data entry into personnel files;
- Assist employees with general HR questions and follow up on requests.
- Additional related tasks and HR projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications - Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Associates or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, or relevant work history.
- 2 years of experience in fast-paced Administrative role.
- Full cycle recruiting experience preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle a fast paced workload.
- Must have good experience with Excel.
- Must have good attendance record.
- Customer service mindset, ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- Strong time management skills and ability to effectively manage workflow to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well under pressure, able to work over-time as needed.
- Meticulous attention to detail. Accuracy is of the utmost importance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS management systems (Paycom preferred).
- Microsoft Suite proficiency required or similar software.
