Job Description

The Republican National Committee is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to join the Digital team. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of email experience and an interest in fundraising, current events and trends, and politics. Additionally, the ideal candidate is interested in being a part of a team, collaborating with others, and long-term projects for the email and digital efforts of the RNC. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in developing technical, digital skills. Our ideal candidate is hardworking, driven, detail-oriented and has the ability to multitask. This is an in-person position based in Washington DC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the Digital Marketing Director and Deputy Digital Marketing Director.
• Monitor the progress of the Email Team and ensure they are meeting their objectives and goals.
• Track email performance and analyze data to optimize deliverability and maximize email list growth.
• Manage and maintain the email program using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and other Email Sending Platforms.
• Mock emails within Marketing Cloud and other Email Sending Platforms.
• Undertake various long-term projects to support fundraising and political digital teams.
• Monitor and stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing and digital fundraising.
• Analyze data to gain valuable insights and identify areas for improvement.
• Propose and implement tactics to optimize email marketing effectiveness.
• Segment email lists based on various criteria, including past engagement behavior.
• Coordinate with external vendors, such as email service providers.

Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask, adapt to quick changes and prioritize effectively.
• 1-2 years of email experience using a professional ESP
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
