ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Engineer, Principal , serving as a Deputy Project Manager , to join our team in the Chantilly, VA, area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist in the creation of fully developed project schedules utilizing the Enterprise Scheduling Service platform (ESS) built on Microsoft Project Assist with creating quality briefing decks, to include detailed cost estimates, based on projects for senior leadership presentation Coordinate the engineering, integration, and administration function required to deliver capabilities and services to the enterprise Ensure that all aspects of the projects are completed and delivered according to the implementation plan and schedule Responsible for coordinating the build-out and testing of sophisticated applications and tools in a virtual and physical environment Manage the engineering, integration, and administration support required for successful delivery of capabilities and services to the operational and engineering baseline Manage incident/request ticket queues through ServiceNow and various ticket platforms Manage, utilize, evaluate, and update all engineer instruction sets and SOPs Attend weekly customer and corporate meetings and track action items to completion Coordinate and assign tasks in aiding the Program/Project engineers in testing and implementing future enhancements Operate and multitask in a dynamic high tempo environment Perform work duties in a government environment as part of a multi-contractor team Support integration of systems applications and tools within the customer’s environment Assist with the management of Tier 2-4 support to the customer to include troubleshooting and resolution of issues Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree 7 years of relevant cyber security work experience Experience with managing and leading of small to medium teams Ability to demonstrate understanding and appropriate application of DoD/IC policy and technical security guidance to information systems IAT Level II certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire Preferred Qualifications: Experience with system design and integration Experience with Risk Management Framework knowledge Knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, and endpoint protection Ability to learn the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ a CI polygraph Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
