Soar Transportation is seeking CDL A OTR Reefer Lease Purchase Drivers in the Midwest . Now more than ever, great people are needed to get the job done. As part of our SOAR team, you’ll serve an impressive roster of clients, hauling temperature-controlled freight in late model, well-equipped trucks.

Compensation

• Annual pay: $200,000+ average gross pay
  • Earn $1.40 for every loaded mile
  • Receive an additional $0.01 per year of service, up to a cap of $1.45
  • Enjoy a 100% pass-through fuel surcharge based off of weekly D.O.E. National Average
  • Earn 50 CPM on dispatched empty miles
• Additional Pay:
  • Get $50 per hour after just 2 hours of waiting
  • Maximize your earnings with a cap of $300 per 24-hour period
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

  • Lease Only - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
  • Purchase - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles

  • Lease Only Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
  • Purchase - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
• USED 2023, OWNER OP SPEC’D FREIGHTLINER CASCADIAS & PETERBILTS 579’s
  • Lease Only - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
  • Purchase - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
• Insurance Premiums:
  • Physical Damage: 3.40% of tractor value weekly (ex. $150,000.00 * 3.40% / 52 weeks = $98.08 weekly)
  • Non-Trucking Liability - $ 6.69 per week
  • Workers Comp or OCC/ACC - $30.23 per week
  • Passenger Insurance (optional) - $3.23 per week
  • Truck Supplement (optional) - $4.15 per week
  • Deductible Buyback (opotional) - $21.38
• Federal Heavy Use Tax 2290- $10.58 per week
• Permits and Plates - $44.23 per week
• Driver Tech Unit- $16.00 per week
• Trailer Rental Fee - $100.00 per week
• Contractor Engagement Fee - $62.50 per week until $2.500 and full refundable after 12 months
• Operating ESO - $.08 per mile and cap at $10,000 (maintenance/downtime account)
• Fuel and Mileage Tax - $0.0125 per mile
• Pre-Pass - $4.00 per week
• Trans-flo - $10.00 per week
• Additional Cost : Scales, Truck washers, tolls, tickets, MVR, garnishments, fuel, oil, DOT physicals, TWIC/escort fees, load locks, and ANY maintenance repairs or costs MUST be paid by the Contractor.

Home time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Choose your home time, most drivers are home for 3-4 days every 3 weeks
  • Average weekly miles - 2,450 - 3,000
• Route: Primary Power Lanes (I-80, I-90 and I-94) but we run all 48 states
• 100% no touch freight

Equipment

• Drive a Brand New 2022 - 2024 Freightliner Cascadia
• Bumper to Bumper Maintenance Program
• EW4 and TC4 coverage
• 4 year - 450,000 mile chassis warranty
• 4 year - 500,000 mile engine warranty
• Must have physical damage insurance, bobtail/non-trucking liability, occupational accident coverage, general liability coverage

Qualification

• Must have valid CDL A License
• 23 years of age
• Minimum 1 year over the road experience
  • At least 6 monthgs of reefer or dry can experience in the last 36 months
• Clean MVR and driving history
• Solid work history
• Clean background
• Operates under SOAR authority
• Must reside in one of the following states: OH, IN, WI, ND (Fargo Only), IA, NE, KS, MO
  • May also consider drivers living further west in ID, UT or CO
